Utilising world leading AI hand tracking technology, I was responsible for leading product design for existing and new to market B2B and B2C products at a fast paced Series D startup. Working in cross-disciplinary product teams, aligning with engineers, VPs and product owners, I facilited user research activities, contributed to product strategy, designed customer journeys and highly considered interfaces from low to high fidelity Figma prototypes, worked closely with engineers to execute those designs, and conducted extensive usability testing.
Leading design and research for the TouchFree product, I consistently championed the end user through an unwaveringly user-centric design process, ensuring that spatial interactions and interfaces met user expectation in challenging use cases. Working with VPs, engineering and ML teams, I ensured that interactions pushed what was possible by improving the technology while meeting technology limitations. Redesigning the B2B TouchFree application interface and creating documentation, I dramatically improved the build and setup process for engineering teams, leading to faster software integrations.
In XR, I led design for new to market products in a cross-disciplinary product team. Designing AR smart glasses experience using bleeding edge computer vision technology, I conducted end to end product design, by facilitating research, product direction, UX and UI design.
Throughout my tenure, I worked with several external big name brands. Notably, creating an automotive integration where understanding the customer was critical to designing quality interface and user experience.
